It is designed to accept invoices and credit notes produced in Access Accounts and translate them into a single file for direct input into the HSBC system, whilst producing a monthly history file containing Invoice/Credit Note numbers translated along with their control totals.
Basic tests are performed during translation to ensure that the totals match the values next to each of the lines read in the Invoice or Credit note. An error message is produced if there is an imbalance.
